We are happy to announce improvements with the following new features concerning FACT24 CIM. These functionalities will be available to you from 27th of August 2026 on.

A New Navigation Experience

To make working in FACT24 CIM even more intuitive, we are introducing a completely redesigned navigation structure.

The new menu has been organized around users' daily workflows, making it faster and easier to find the functionality you need.

Some features described in this article are only available in specific FACT24 CIM editions, require additional feature activation, or are only accessible to users with the appropriate permissions.
Depending on your FACT24 CIM edition and your user role (for example, Administrator or another role), certain navigation items may not be visible in your FACT24 CIM environment.

Meeting module

The new Meeting module in FACT24 CIM is designed to help you prepare, schedule, and conduct meetings directly within FACT24 CIM.

The new module supports the entire meeting process, from creating reusable templates and inviting attendees to scheduling recurring meetings and conducting the meeting.

With the new Meeting module, you can:

  • Create meeting templates in advance for recurring or standardized meeting formats.
  • Define the meeting level by selecting Strategic, Tactical, or Operational.
  • Set the meeting status to Draft or Published.
  • Schedule the meeting by specifying a date and time.
  • Integrate with Microsoft calendars to synchronize meeting invitations.
  • Add a title to clearly identify the meeting.
  • Specify a location or create a Microsoft Teams meeting for virtual participation.
  • Add a description with relevant information and context.
  • Create agenda items to structure the meeting and prepare discussion topics.
  • Invite attendees directly to the meeting. You can add users, contacts or ENS+ groups, but you cannot currently add externals.
  • Schedule recurring meetings for regular meetings and routines.
  • Conduct the meeting in FACT24 CIM, using the prepared meeting information and agenda.
The Microsoft Calendar and Teams integration must first be activated for your organization. Please contact your F24 representative to enable this functionality.

All meetings created in FACT24 CIM can be found in the Meeting Overview, providing a central place to access and manage your meetings.

From the Meeting Overview, you can:

  • View all your meetings in one central location
  • Access meeting details, including date, time, location, participants, description, and agenda
  • Conduct the meeting directly from FACT24 CIM
  • Edit meeting details whenever changes are required
  • Add additional participants to an existing meeting
  • Add attachments for each agenda point to provide relevant documents and additional information for the meeting
  • Add tasks for each agenda point to capture and assign follow-up actions directly within the meeting

  • Send a meeting report after the meeting has ended to share the relevant outcomes and information with participants or other stakeholders
  • Log the meeting to the incident to ensure that the meeting and its outcomes are documented as part of the incident history

Start a Meeting from Chat

If a FACT24 CIM Chat requires a live meeting, there is no need to leave FACT24 CIM or set up the meeting separately.

Simply start a Microsoft Teams meeting directly from the chat, allowing participants to quickly switch from text-based communication to a live conversation.

The Microsoft Calendar and Teams integration must first be activated for your organization. Please contact your F24 representative to enable this functionality.

Start a Meeting from Messages

You can now add a Microsoft Teams meeting directly to a message in FACT24 CIM.

When creating a new message, simply click the Microsoft Teams icon to create a Teams meeting.

A link to the meeting is then automatically added to the message.

Recipients can use this link to join the Microsoft Teams meeting directly from the message, making it easier to bring relevant participants together quickly when a live discussion is required.

Please note: The Microsoft Calendar and Teams integration must first be activated for your organization. Please contact your F24 representative to enable this functionality.

Add FACT24 CIM Variables to FACT24 ENS+ Alarm Messages

When configuring a FACT24 ENS+ alarm, you can now include FACT24 CIM incident variables directly in the alarm message.

The available variables can be easily added to the message using drag and drop. This allows you to automatically include relevant information from the current FACT24 CIM incident in your alarm communication.

Please note: FACT24 CIM variables are only available when the FACT24 ENS+ alarm is initiated from within an active FACT24 CIM incident.
