Release Notes Portal Version 3.22.0 (available from July 31st 2025 on)

Improvements for all FACT24 Editions:

Custom Fields in Filter-Based Groups

Your account manager can configure custom properties to your enterprise. These will then be visible on the persons page.

Now you can use these properties as filtering criteria in the Filter-based groups.

As these properties are free text fields, the existing limitation applies: A maximum of 3 free text fields can be used per group filter.

Use Custom Notification Sound (Android Only)

  1. Upload your preferred sound file to the File Manager. Supported formats: .wav and .mp3
  2. Use the Browse button in the Profile to select your custom sound.
You’ll need App version 3.21 to use this feature.

Improvements from FACT24 ENS+ essential:

Voice Conference Report

You can now include detailed voice conference call logs in your Alarm Reports.

How it works:

  • In the Alarm Report view, select an alarm, click Generate export, choose PDF, and enable the Include conference log toggle.
  • The exported PDF will contain an additional page with a detailed overview of the voice conference.

In ENS+ you can get the Alarm report automatically as well, if you turn on this feature in the Alarm settings on the Report page.

Here you can also add the conference participants to the report.

The additional page will show the participants of the voice conference call in a spreadsheet with the following data: join time, last name, first name, org. unit, phone number, added by, removed by and leave time:

Improvements from FACT24 ENS+ advanced:

Group-Specific Message

You can now add a group-specific message to an Alarm, in addition to the general Alarm message.

The function works very simply:

  • it can be activated on the message page, if a group is also assigned to the Alarm
  • as a first step, you must select which group the message should go to
  • as a second step, you can compose the message.

Further informations:

  • The group-specific message appears after the main message, but before the confirmation message.
  • The message intended for the group can be defined at the Alarm level. It is not possible to set a group to automatically bring a message with it.
  • The function supports all types of groups: normal groups, calendar-based groups or escalation groups.
  • In case of a telephone alarm, the voice message is generated based on the language set in the Alarm.
  • The Transfer message to related alarms feature won’t transfer the group-specific message.
  • If a person is assigned to multiple groups, and these groups have group-specific messages, then the person will receive just one notification per channel. This also means that he won't get different messages from the same alarm via the same channel. (he will get just one SMS, with one group-specific message)
  • The Alarm report shows which group-specific messages have been sent.

Survey Export in PDF Format

You can now export survey results as a PDF document for easy sharing and archiving.

What’s included in the PDF:

  • General survey information (e.g., survey name, launch date, number of participants)
  • Response statistics (number of answers per option)
  • List of participants

How to use it:

  1. Go to the Report page.
  2. Open Survey reports.
  3. Select a survey and click Export report.

Alarm flow visualization

Designing and managing complex alarm scenarios just got easier with the introduction of a visual, node-based interface for alarm flows.

You can now visualize, design, and modify alarm sequences directly in a graphical interface — no more navigating multiple configuration pages.

Key capabilities:

  • The alarm flow helps you to understand the system of follow-up and escalation alarms by visualizing the connection among different alarms.
  • The node-based UI clearly displays each alarm as a box with its key information, and shows how alarms are connected.
  • Access the feature from the Alarm Flow menu under Alarm configuration.
  • Start by selecting the initial alarm in the flow; the system will then display all related alarms and their connections.
  • Use the three-dot menu on each node to modify connections, which updates the actual alarm configuration in real time.
