New functions through FACT24 CIM release V.25.01

We are happy to announce improvements with the following new features concerning FACT24 CIM. To provide you with a better overview, we have set up this article to give you a detailed description of the updates with screenshots. These functionalities will be available to you from 08th of May 2025 on.

Improvements for all CIM Editions:

Risk Analysis Module (RISK ISO 31000)

The Risk Analysis in FACT24 provides a comprehensive and structured approach to identifying and managing risks efficiently.

Customers with FACT24 CIM Starter or FACT24 CIM Essential can now also gain access to this module.

With the Risk Analysis module users can:

  1. Create templates for standardized risk assessments
  2. Add title, description, and location to each analysis
  3. Define context: Scope of analysis, criteria, and attachments
  4. Structure and visualize risks digitally for better clarity
  5. Identify causes and assign preventive measures
  6. Define consequences with corresponding limiting measures
  7. Generate a risk matrix to quickly assess likelihood and consequences
  8. Assign tasks directly to team members and designate task owners
  9. Track task progress to ensure timely completion

Advanced Search functionality in Task Manager

In the task manager, it is now possible to filter tasks by multiple variables.

To do this, open the Tasks item in the navigation. Here you'll now find a Filter dropdown next to the + New Tasks button.

Pin Incident to Top of Incident List

You can now tag the Incidents you want to keep an eye on as favourites with a star.

The ones you tag as favourites will appear at the top of the incident list, making them easy to find.

To favorite incidents, click on the current incident at the top and then on Switch Incident.

Here you will find a list of all active incidents and can favorite them.

This setting is user-specific, so each user account will have its own favourites.

Add log entries to other incidents than that with which you are working

From both the list view and the detail view of incidents, you can now add log entries directly to other incidents than the one you are currently working on, without having to switch incident first.

Switch incident quicker

In the same place where you can add log entries to incidents other than the one you are working with, you can now also switch incidents more quickly. To do this, also open the three-dot menu in the list view in the incident module.

Update status on actions in Action Cards

Actions within an action card can now get a status update through a bulk update feature.

In stead of updating each action individually, the “change multiple statuses” feature allows you now to update an entire (or parts of) an action card within one process.

To do this, go to Boards - Action Cards in the navigation and select all the actions whose status you want to change in the list view.

Instead of clicking the three dots for each action and selecting Change Status, you can now click Change Multiple Statuses and avoid having to edit each action individually.

Assign as tasks in Incident Boards

You can now create a task directly from the incident board.

All data from the registration will automatically be added to the task, which can be assigned to one or more responsible persons.

This gives you the possibility to follow-up on topics registered in the incident board.

Delivery report after sending messages

When sending a message, CIM will now provide the sender an option to receive a delivery report a select minutes after the message is sent.

This is useful if you want a summary and status of the message delivery, especially for messages that have failed to send.

To do this, go to Boards - Messages in the navigation and create a new message using +New. The Schedule Report field will appear at the bottom, which you can activate. You can also specify an email address to which the report will be sent, as well as the time at which the report should be received.
