Click here to watch the video guide on how to trigger an ad hoc alarm.

Here you can dynamically send ad-hoc messages to individuals or groups. The interface is a simplified version of the alarm configuration. All recipients will be notified in parallel and the default phone number of the customer account is transmitted.

  • Message template: Instead of writing your message from scratch, you can select a pre-configured message template.
Please note that if you decide to edit the message by clicking on “edit”, email header and footer pre-configured in the template will no longer be sent.
  • Language: A language can be selected so that the entered texts and acknowledgement announcements are played back in the selected language. This is important for notifications transmitted via voice call.
  • Message: The text to be transferred can be entered in this field using free text. Up to 500 characters are available. The minimum length of a message is 8 characters.
  • Alarm priority: This priority is displayed for the media App, Email, Fax, SMS, and Email. The special ringing tone is also activated for the App medium. (A special tone is assigned to each priority.) In addition, high-priority alarms are treated preferentially in the system for telephone alarms if several mass alarms take place in parallel.
  • Confirmation: If this option is selected, the recipients will be asked to acknowledge the message receipt. The recipients have up to one hour after the alarm to acknowledge it. If this option is selected, it is also possible to allow rejecting the alarm.
  • Enable chat: If this function is activated, a chat function is available to the selected participants in the FACT24 ENS+ App. Important: For this, the medium App must be selected as the communication channel for the respective recipient.
  • Listen/record a message: It is possible for the user to listen to the written text or record the message by entering his / her phone number and clicking the phone symbol. The transmission of this recorded message is only supported for voice alarms.
  • Attachments: By clicking on the plus symbol, up to 3 file attachments can be added to an Ad-hoc message. This option is only supported for media app alerts and email alerts. The maximum file size per attachment is 10 MB.
  • Trigger: This button is available when at least one participant or group has been selected. As soon as the button has been pressed, the corresponding message will be sent.
  • Adding persons: Within this menu you can select persons to receive an Ad-hoc message. You can filter according to various search criteria (surname, first name, department, and Skills). When adding the participants to the dynamic Ad-hoc group, various communication media can be selected via which the participant is contacted in the event of an alarm. If the selected number of persons is greater than 20, the communication channels can only be defined for the entire selection/group.
After selecting the person(s), they are on the left side. Using the pen next to the person, the communication channels can also be adjusted later. Participants can also be deleted.
  • Adding groups: In addition to the persons, different groups can be added to an alarm. In this case, the defined communication channels of the selected participants are used as defined in the group configuration.
  • Live report: After having sent the notification, the page offers a live report at the bottom of the screen, which shows the status of the alarms that have been triggered and also the possibility to stop the running alarms. If you would like to see this full screen, go to the alarm monitor.
